Is what I am about to eat and do moving me closer toward or further away from my goals? There is no such thing as inert matter when it comes to your physical health and spiritual peace.

  • 5 of the leading killers in America today come from nutrition deficiencies, lack of exercise and not controlling stress and anxiety and a poor mental image.
  • Note: The Typical American diet can sustain life, but it doesn’t make you healthy.

Don’t become a Premature Fatal Statistic!
I know I get a little carried away with statistics. I can’t help it, I love you all so much. I don’t want you to experience one day of unnecessary pain and poor health. I want you to live a healthy, productive, complete life filled with love, happiness and peace. Your life should be filled with unspeakable joy and peace that surpasses all understanding!

You see, several years ago I was on a self destructive road to a premature death. I was clinically obese. I was diagnosed with type two diabetes, I had high blood pressure and I my cholesterol count was off the charts when I was sixty pounds heavier. I had to change, I had to make getting healed a priority. I had to take control of my future. No one could do it for me. I had to do it and that is my appeal to you this week.

You must take control of your future by taking control of your total health. Only you can take control of your health, especially your heart’s health. Only you can ingest the proper nutritional and spiritual food so that you can drop excess body fat and excess negative emotions. You are the only one who can improve your cardiovascular strength, Increase your metabolism and improve your flexibility and circulation through aerobic exercise.

Today is the best day to start getting better. Today you can work towards preventing heart disease, preventing diabetes, preventing alzheimer’s, arthritis and all types of life robbing cancer.

Here are the cold hard facts:

  • Does it take work to get healthy? Yes.
  • Do you have to work at it? Yes.
  • Do you have to do it forever? Yes.
  • Will you love how you feel when you are fit? YES!!!!

The number one factor preventing us from getting into a good habit of eating is motivation. With the right motivation, it’s simple, easy, possible and you will love what you become in the process.

We all know that our bodies won’t last forever and they are going to expire someday. The question is when? Invest now or pay with poor health later. Which would you choose? Do you want to see your dreams fulfilled? Do you want to do everything you can to experience life with your children as they grow up with a vibrant and healthy parent? Do you want to be youthful while you play you’re your grand children? Do you want to see your business become a profitable success? Do you want to touch more people and be a positive role model for others?

You are the only one that can do it. You deserve to have to ingest the best and be the best. You deserve to live life with the highest quality of personal health possible. Don’t cheat yourself. You are worth every dime you invest and every minute you share with yourself. Using my program, you can do it, no? You will do it. Most of all you will discover a greater love inside while you’re doing it.

The Top Six Ways to Stay Motivated – Part 1

1. Get motivated every day: Zig Ziglar was once confronted about being a "motivational speaker." The guy said to him, "You guys come and get people hyped up and then you leave and the motivation goes away. It doesn't last, and then you have to get motivated again." Zig reminded the gentleman that baths are the same way but we think it is a good idea to take a bath every day!

It is true that motivation doesn't last. We have to renew it each and every day. That is okay. It doesn't make motivation a bad thing. We simply have to realize that if we want to stay motivated over the long term, it is
something we will have to apply to ourselves each and every day.

2. Have a vision for your life: The root word of motivation is "motive." The definition of motive is, "A reason to act." This is the cognitive or rational side of motivation. It is your vision. You have to have a vision that is big enough to motivate you. If you are making $50,000 a year, it isn't going to motivate you to set your goal at $52,000 a year. You just won't get motivated for that because the reward isn't great enough. Maybe $70,000 a year would work for you. Set out a vision and a strategy for getting there. Have a plan and work that plan.

3. Fuel your passion: Much of motivation is emotional. I don't know quite how it works but I do know THAT it works. Emotion is a powerful force in getting us going. Passion is an emotion, so fuel your passion. "Well, I like to work on logic," you may say. Great, now work on your passion. Set yourself on a course to have a consuming desire for your goal, whatever it is. Do whatever you can to feel the emotion and use it to your advantage!

These are simple principles, that when you put them to work regularly, will change your life by keeping you motivated all the time! Next week I’ll discuss the final three Ways to Stay Motivated in the part 2 edition of this content piece.

Healthy Recipe

Veggie Patties

Makes: 4 servings

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup shredded zucchini
  • 3/4 cup shredded carrots
  • 1 1/2 tsp. onion powder
  • 2 tsp. minced garlic
  • 15 oz. can fat-free black beans, mashed
  • 1/2 cup cooked rice
  • 1/4 cup egg substitute
  • 2 tbsp. fat-free bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp. Italian seasoning

Directions:

  • Preheat broiler on high heat. Line broiler pan with foil and lightly spray with nonfat cooking spray.
  • In a large bowl, combine all ingredients and mix well. (If mixture is too moist to shape, refrigerate 1 hour).
  • Shape mixture into 8 patties and place on prepared pan.
  • Broil 4 to 6 inches from heat for 5 to 6 minutes per side, until lightly browned.
  • Great as a sandwich on fat-free roll with lettuce, tomato, and deli style mustard or fat-free honey mustard sauce.

  • Fat: 0 g
  • Cholesterol: 0 mg
  • Protein: 12 g
  • Carbohydrates: 34 g
  • Fiber: 6 g
  • Sodium: 37 mg
