Victoria, I absolutely love your new Divine Prosperity Blog. I had no idea how my thinking was blocking my success. I have been applying to colleges and I now realize that I need to reach higher and not be intimidated by my friends who are settling for the closest, cheapest and easiest path in life.

I never knew that I had so many poverty thoughts that has caused me gain weight and take minimal part time jobs that barely pay me any money.

I have been blaming the place where I worked instead of understanding that I am the one who took a job that pays me less than I expect which made me buy cheap unhealthy foods.

I am so grateful that you have shared such life changing information for free. Thank you so much for your giving heart and your loving Spirit.

Here is my question. First of all, I have ordered your online book, Restoring God’s Temple, but I have two weeks until my senior prom and I want to look hot! What could I do to smooth out some of my bumpy spots? I will do whatever you say. I know from reading your blog, you hate to give information to people who are curious and don’t have the heart to follow a disciplined plan.

Melanie, Thank you for the kind words. I am excited that you have taken the time to read about Divine Prosperity. Not everyone will take the time to improve from the inside out. That is the only way I was able to lose weight permanently and become financially independent without working in the corporate world.

You took the time and your reward will last a lifetime.

I have been waiting for you to email me! This is the million-dollar question that usually comes in right about now.

Whenever I am getting ready for a photo shoot or TV appearance I have to pull out my Emergency Hot Body Plan. Now keep in mind that this is just for a quick fat shrinking fix. It is not a permanent plan for fat loss. You have to get committed and get my personal Quick Start Energy Program when you are ready to totally refine your body permanently.

Okay girlfriend, get your discipline muscles warmed up and get ready to make all the other wanna-be hotties upset with you!

STOP The Sweets, Yes all candy has to go!
Cut out all sugar. You can celebrate your new body with chocolate after your special occasion.

Eliminate all white flour foods

Do not eat carbs after 7:00 PM

Don't drink fruit juices or juice-based products
Fiber Up and Get Your Colon Moving

Did you know that you could have up to ten pounds of fecal matter stored in your digestive tract. It sticks our and makes your belly look round and lumpy.

Make it a target to eat 25 grams of fiber per day. This can come from cruciferous vegetables, fruit, and whole unprocessed grains

Freeze strawberries and other berries and snack on them. They take longer to eat and you can just pop them in your mouth like candy.

Power Up The Protein

Eat 4- ounces of protein at each full meal. When you get hungry and want to go on a snack rampage; STOP everything you’re doing, get your mind on your goal and eat a few ounces of protein to tide you over until your next full meal.

Many times you can outwait your food cravings. They generally last no longer then 10 minutes. So try to keep mentally busy with fun thoughts when you feel like cheating.

Replace beef and other meats with fish for weekday dinner for two weeks. There is a variety of fish. Be creative. You can have chicken on the weekends for dinner, but grilled only!

Spice up your food with red pepper, which has shown to boost metabolism.

Slowly eat sugar-free Jello with whipped cream for a sweet treat.

Drink Like A Sailor

Keep water with you so that you can get in your four quarts of water daily

Drink green tea liberally - it helps burn fat.

Cardio

Get in five days a week of 45-60 minutes of cardio a week to burn the fat.

If you are doing heavy weight training, reduce it for the next two weeks. It would be counter productive to be in a big muscle building (size increasing) phase while you are working towards reducing your body size. You can pick it back up after your prom.

Melanie, again, remember this is an emergency plan. It is to help you detox your body and trim up the lumpy spots.

Visualize to Realize

Keep your goal (prom dress or motivating photo) out and visible at all times. If you find yourself getting bored, stressed out or depressed, get refocused on your goal and not on the problems.

Victoria:
I have read over your wake up call several times and realized that I too had a wake up call. I am a secretary employed at a hospital and they call codes that we have to respond to example code red = fire. On this particular day a code was called on the 4th floor of the hospital and of course you cannot take the elevator.

Now I work on the ground floor which meant I had to climb 5 flights of stairs to get to the 4th floor, when I got to the 4th floor, I was breathing so hard, my heart was pounding, I was sweating, I couldn't even talk, I felt like lying on the floor, but I made my way to a chair and collapsed. I got a book and started fanning myself, and trying to catch my breath. With everyone asking "are you alright"? And I could only shake my head, "yes". I of course waited and took the elevator back to the ground floor. But later I begin to think about what the doctor told me on my last visit. "Heart disease runs in your family and you could stand to lose 20 or more pounds", when it came to weight I would always put 125lbs. but I weighed 158lbs.

After that incident I joined a health club, and started in the low impact aerobics classes Monday thru Thursday "faithfully". I noticed that I had more stamina and energy, and begun losing weight and my thighs did not rub together... joy, joy. From this, 2 years ago I started an aerobics class at my church 2 days a week, I had instructors come and teach the class, then I was encouraged to become an instructor which I will become certified in a few months.

We have gone from chair aerobics, to regular aerobics, to step aerobics, and to strength training. I have 2 other young ladies that work with me, and we all enjoy it so much. And my doctor is pleased with my weight, and so am I. I love your dvd's and use your instructions to teach my classes, I love the way you explain what you are doing and why. Thanks for all that you do, because you are an encouragement to me.
