Dear Victoria,
I was lucky enough to get front row seats at the Le Reve show at the magnificent Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas and I am still vibrating. It was one of the most unique show experiences I have ever encountered and the Cirque like performers had some of the most sculpted, beautiful, strong and sexy bodies I have ever seen. Now I am inspired to sculpt my body, but I don’t want to get bulky or thick like weight lifters. Which one of your DVD’s do you suggest for weight training to look like a strong dancer?

Thank you for your kind words and gracious compliments. I receive them with gratitude and honor from you. I know exactly what you mean about the dancers and performers in the Le Reve show. I went to see it as well and you are so right. The women were so sculpted and they had beautiful bodies as well as astounding strength. When they were doing trapeze stunts I found myself holding my breath in both fear and fascination. I loved how they danced in the water scenes. I can barely get out of the shower without slipping, so I was captivated the whole time.

Their bodies have the same structure of the beautiful fitness champions and figure contestants now. They are tight but not bulky. I also liked how they were flexible and graceful but not anorexic looking. All in all, they had a perfect balance of muscularity and femininity. I would have to say that you found a perfect example what to strive for in building the perfect dancer’s physique. I don’t believe you have to bend like a pretzel the way they do or hang from a high wire, but I do believe you can restructure your shape with lightweights, cardio and a perfect diet for stripping fat off your body.

I created a workout that is world famous and is taught by personal trainers and fitness professionals all over the world. I did it because I knew that there had to be a way to get the physiological benefits of weight training and the fat burning effect of cardio without spending hours in the gym. ART of Sculpting

Power Shaping For Sexy Muscle Definition

The body to me is a beautiful instrument. It is a work of ART. With my complete Vertical Training System, your body can be reshaped, molded and sculpted to reflect it’s perfect form. You have the power to make it happen once you learn the exercises and principles, follow the eating program and apply and commit to it as a life-style.

Almost every other workout system in the world outside of Dance was created by people who were using bulky training exercises or calisthenics (old PE moves). Those exercises can create short, bulky squatty muscles and tight inflexible joints.

I have been studying dance and fitness since I was a little girl. I got into weight lifting several years ago because I wanted to change my shape and increase my metabolism. After one year with a trainer, I ended up with short squatty muscles and I had lost a great deal of flexibility as well as my femininity. I got leaner and a better shape, but not the long lean lines of a dancer’s shape that I had hoped for.

I liked the benefits of muscle training, but I was not excited about my new thick body. So, in my search for the perfect program I became relentless in researching light resistance training and body sculpting using dance principles, and I went back to my roots and my first love, dance technique and dance training.

After years of research, trial and error, physiology and kinesiology research, I found it. I found the perfect formula, the perfect system and the perfect joint friendly workout. It’s called Power Shaping, the total body training method that is one of my Vertical Training concepts. It is the integration of Dance/Fitness technique performed to driving hot music while using light consistent resistance training with hand weights. It is fun, it is efficient, you not only tighten your muscle, you burn fat, and the moves are designed to help you increase flexibility while you are reshaping your body. It is absolutely one of the best workouts ever designed.

I put it all together in a DVD so you can do it anywhere. You can do it on the road in your hotel, at lunch in your company’s conference room or at home anyplace you have a mini or full size DVD.

If you have a laptop, you can use my program anywhere you want. And it you are like me, you have one of those new iPods that shows films and you can use it at the park or on the beach in the sunshine.

You are going to love learning, sharing and training with me. After all, the journey is sometimes sweeter than the destination.

The number of repetitions dictate how defined the muscles get and the technique comes from proper kinesiology of movement. All these elements are applied in every aspect of training I do. Whether I am working with a stage artist or an athlete, these elements of training are always the basis of the workout.

I Am Back To My Pre-Baby Weight And My Cellulite Is GONE!

Victoria, You are an angel! I had a beautiful baby girl ten months ago, her name is Meridith, and I had fifteen pounds of baby weight that would not go away. Healthy Recipe

Lentil Chili

Makes
: 6 servings

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup dried brown lentils, cleaned
  • 2 cups vegetable broth
  • 16 ounces unsalted tomatoes, crushed
  • 1 medium green pepper, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, crushed
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 16 ounces unsalted tomato sauce
  • 2 cups whole kernel corn
  • 1 celery stalk, chopped

Directions:

  • Combine all of the ingredients except for the tomato sauce and corn in a 4-quart pot, and bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 25-30 minutes.
  • Add the tomato sauce and corn to the lentil mixture. Stir, cover, and simmer for 10-15 additional minutes. Serve hot.

Miss Victoria,

I just have to tell you how thankful I am for you and your ministry. I have been praying asking God if He wants me to start an exercise ministry in the Church, to give me help from an exercise instructor I'd personally used and respected. The next day, you sent me the email program. I'm also currently reading your book, "Body Revival". I had read the Weigh Down Diet, which says some of the same things you do, but I totally disagreed with her take on exercise. Then Wednesday, October 25, 2006, Oprah had a program on about Weight Loss Surgery's Emotional Side Effects, i.e. alcoholism, sexual misbehaviour, etc... It just reconfirmed the point that when we get our comfort from anywhere else than God, that even if we lose the weight, the "real" problem still remains. You gotta pray, weigh and pay!!! Keep up the fantastic work and many blessings to you my sister.
