Cure For Belly Fat Frustration
Victoria,
I am so frustrated with my belly fat. What is the best way to get rid of it. I want to be able to put on my favorite jeans and not have my bell hanging over the top of them. I want to have flat abs and I need a plan now!

Alexis, First of all you just can't get rid of your flabby belly by doing sit-ups and crunches. I am assuming that you are already somewhat physically active and are going to follow my suggestions and eat good carb diet with lots of fruits and vegetables and low in fat.
I didn’t have a clue about getting flat abs until I took a class in New York studying from a magnificent and stunning dance guru who was old as Moses and as sexy as Marilyn Monroe.
She had this beautifully concave, flat and slightly sculpted six-pack. She had the perfect dancer’s midsection. You know like the abs you see on the female dancers on Dancing With The Stars TV Show.
I was not exactly in bad shape, but I definitely did not have abs like hers. I got an opportunity to speak with her after our training sessions and I gleaned insider secrets, tips and nutrition ideas that I so gratefully received and I put them in my Ab videos. If you don’t have them, you have to get them. They are awesome. When I made them I used great music with a hot beat. I sequenced the exercises to be ultra effective. And when I work out, I want to have fun, so I made my DVD’s with the same energetic style I use when I kick it live!
Alexis, now that you are ready to go from fat to flat abs, new research shows that what you eat, when you eat and how often you eat is just as important as how - or even how much - you work out and train your abs.
Flat Ab Diet Tip 1. Eat more fiber.
Not eating enough fiber may be a major reason women are getting fatter and flabbier. To ditch the fat and show off your new beautiful abs, you need to eat at least 25 grams of fiber every day. Fiber, which is the indigestible part of fruits, vegetables and whole-grain foods, helps your digestion, empties out your colon and the will help your lower belly go flat. Many times the lack of digestive elimination makes your lower colon pooch out which pushes that area out even farther than normal. How cool is that, if you could get some of the crap out of your life, your abs will show up!
For best results, increase your fiber intake slowly over the course of one month and drink plenty of water to keep food moving through your system as quickly as possible. If you just start piling on the fiber at once, you will have gas attacks. And they are no fun.
Flat Ab Diet Tip 2. Go for the good carbs.
For flatter abs, make good carbs your friend.
When you eat carbs, they break down into glucose, which is stored as glycogen in the muscles and liver. When glycogen is stored, it carries with it three times its own weight as water, compared to no water at all for protein and fat. If you eat an extremely high bad carb diet, you may store excess water, experience bloating and gain water weight, which can pooch out your belly as well.
Flat Ab Diet Tip 3. Drink up!
Many women believe that drinking too much water will make their stomach stand out, but just the opposite is true. "Even though we associate water with being bloated, drinking more water can help to flush sodium out of the body, and that reduces the bloat and it also helps with the elimination process mentioned earlier.
Drink at least eight 8-ounce glasses of water per day. Beverages with little or no calories, caffeine or sodium, including herbal tea, are best. Avoid regular soft drinks and soups with lots of sodium. Avoid carbonated drinks. Fizzy drinks, including soda pop and spritzers, increase bloating because the carbon dioxide trapped in the bubbles creates gas, which slows down stomach emptying.
Flat Ab Diet Tip 4. Eat light at night.
You have a heavier-than-normal evening meal or snack, and when you weigh yourself the next morning, you're up by several pounds. But as depressing as it may seem at the moment, such a quick gain is always water weight; you simply cannot gain that much fat overnight.
Studies show that people who skip breakfast or lunch and eat their largest meal later in the day have lower metabolisms. So by eating lightly at night you'll receive a double benefit: You'll wake feeling more energized, after you go to the bathroom in the morning from increasing your water and fiber intake, you will instantly have a flatter abs. Then you will have a better appetite for a fiber-rich protein balanced breakfast, which sets you up for another day of energy and power.
Alexis, sit down and map out your game plan on your calendar and add eating and training to your to do list. You have to make this a priority and put yourself first. No one is going to do it for you and don’t put it off.
It is easy for us to give up and cover up our bodies in oversized clothes until something medically goes wrong and then you spend all your time and money on doctor and drugs.
