I have lost fifteen pounds using your Retro Power Step Training Workout and now I want to tighten and tone even more.  DO you have any secrets you could reveal to me to help me speed up the process?  I love that workout.  For some crazy reason most classes I try to take at our club just do not do the cardio I need to burn fat. Terminator Fanfare – Software Dealer’s Conference – Dream Realize.

There are these video software dealers’ conference every year where my distributors go to sell my DVD’s and videos to retail outlets.  I would go and do shows, make presentations and do demonstrations for the different buyers along with other workout product distributors. 

I have to tell you that it was a total eye opener.  There were much more than workouts offered, there were top films, pet products, educational products and the most daring of all products and their stars were the porn people.  AAAHHH! We tried not to go by their booths by accident.

I do have to say that one of the most eventful days was when Arnold Schwarzenegger was helicoptered in wearing full terminator/swat gear to promote a compilation Arnold series of films.  The whole convention center almost shut down because thousands of people stormed the place where the helicopter landed. It was definitely an exciting day.

This was extremely significant to me because he was a Bodybuilder turned actor, turned millionaire and now was pursuing his dream of political leadership and here he was at the same event as me.  I have always wanted to meet him and see if his guns (biceps) were as big as I thought in person.  I did not meet him that day but I did soon after. It was before he became a soft-bodied Gov-enator. 

Dream Big – Do Big Things

And YES, they were definitely big in person.  I share this with you because one of my secrets is to dream big and go for your dreams with all that you have within you.  I believe if you want big results, you have to take big action and take big risks.  You have to put yourself out there and abandon weakness and intimidation.  You will be better than you expected and you will become more than you dreamed you could be. Trust that God will be with you and will guide you on your journey to become that best that you can be.

No Stick Doll, Mannequin Workouts

Back to the Software conference... As I ventured around to scout out the competition, I saw a bevy of skinny stick doll mannequin models who were hired to do canned workouts for certain companies and magazines and that was appalling.  They did not even know what body parts they were working and they had zero to no body muscle definition and they could not answer fitness related questions that the buyers were posing to them.

They were my confirmation that what I was doing was exactly what I wanted to do.  Offer fun, interesting, effective and real high-energy workout experiences to real people who wanted to get fit and lose fat without being bored stiff.

Transform – Elite to Sleek

When you read my secrets, keep in your mind’s eye that not only have I personally tested and written personal nutrition and fitness programs for over 10,000 people. I have also had the opportunity to work with some of the greatest models, competitors, athletes, dancers, and recording artists on the planet. If there is one thing I have learned about my gift, it's how to transform bodies and inspire people to get the results they so desperately desire but didn't know they could achieve until they had the right complete program. 

Tested, Tried and True

I have personally fat tested and performed nutrition and fitness analysis and programming on over ten thousand people. Using the information that I learned I have come up with a body transformation formula that I know has been overlooked by the fitness and medical communities.  If you get well, doctors can’t make any money and if you get totally fit, you won’t need trainers.  The bottom line is if you want to get fit and sculpted, you have to take these ideas and put them to work for you and you have to stay with it until you get the body you want. Here are some of my favorite secrets.

WORK YOUR BODY BABY

At an advanced level, and after you have got the ok from healthy doctor... You have to do at least 6 cardio workouts of 40-60 minutes per week,

Preferably pre-breakfast. Or sixty minutes after a light dinner and follow up with stretching, floor exercises and your favorite abdominal exercises.

BREATH IN BREATHE OUT

Extra weight accelerates aging and increases the likelihood of disease. The lack of adequate oxygen slows your metabolism.  This in turn can add pounds without even increasing your calorie intake.

When you start becoming aware of your breathing as you sit, walk, drive, work, play, workout and eat you will begin to experience more energy and this will allow you the frame of mind along the physiology required to burn fat faster.

Sit up straight and try not to take shallow breaths and become aware of your exhalation patterns.  I like to make sure I am taking steady calming or energetic breaths throughout my daily activities depending on what I need.

If I need energy, I take shorter deeper more inspirational breaths. This revs up my energy and clears my head and helps me stay up.  If I need to relax, I think calming thoughts and take longer breaths to and exhale slow and deep to relax my mind so that I don’t get anxious or overstressed.

Learning to breathe with focused attention will help you in every aspect of your life. At night after you settle down or after your post dinner cardio, use breathing to let go of tension, stress, negative experiences from the day and to tap into your healing state. Strengthen your relaxation response and consciously monitor your breathing.

Keep your breaths long and deliberate. Take deep breaths into your nose and release them through your mouth.  This will give you energy without physical or mental exertion.

Small and Scheduled or Structured and Set

You want to think of your food intake in the framework of grazing during the day or consuming 4-5 small meals per day, emphasizing proteins, healthy fats and vegetables.  If that does not work for you then have three scheduled organized meals emphasizing the same food selections from my Quick Start Energy Program.

Sleep and Lose Weight

I personally sleep 7-8 hours every night and on the weekends I try to sleep in one day so that I get nine hours of sleep. I feel totally rejuvenated, it keeps my weight down and it keeps my skin fresh and beautiful.

Sleep Less, Weigh More

Studies have proven that the less you sleep, the more you weigh. People that sleep less than eight hours a night have a higher level of fat. Specifically, those who slept the fewest hours per night also seem to have a higher level of belly fat. You get at least 6 hours of sleep almost every night 7 to eight is ideal.

Make sleeping a ritual.  I just had my bedroom redone and It feels tranquil ad peaceful when I enter into it. It’s my nighttime sanctuary. NO TV… NO Junk… No visible clothing… No negative books… No newspapers and nothing that makes me think or feel stress or anxiety.  I have lots of fun pillows, candles, aromatherapy lanterns, and fresh flowers, plants and my favorite crystal glass filled with my favorite bottled water by my bed. I get thirsty at night and a princess should have water in a princess glass always available.

Push Through The Hardest Of Times

Some days are tougher than others. I'm talking about those annoying moments when you ask yourself over and over again why you're doing what you do?  You feel sorry for yourself, thinking it’s easier for everyone else and that they have it better than you. 

You're watching all 'normal' people eating whatever they want and never even walking around the corner for coffee all the while you are power walking every night on your treadmill after you have done all your evening chores.  You wish so much you were one of those lucky souls.

Forget it!  Nothing is usually as it seems and they are not better off than you.  Their lifestyle will catch up with them. 

Concentrate on You, Your Goals and Your Dreams

Change your focus.  Focus on yourself and your goals and dreams.  Keep your mind on your outcome.  You need to figure out what you must do to motivate yourself.  You must also decide on a strategy to help you stick to your plan.  The right photo and positive reading material is what motivates me.

Show Some Skin

There's nothing as pleasant as watching your muscles flex during a workout session, so uncover yourself and begin to look for the positive changes as you train. Watching the pay off in the mirror will give you more motivation and help you feel stronger.  Also when you are hanging out, wear some clothes that show your new arms, abs and legs. I live in a cold climate sometimes, so I even crank up the heat and put on some shorts and dance around in the bathroom mirror so I won’t be tempted to sneak some ice cream and cheat on my program.

Don't care about jealous people who blame you for just showing off. If they cannot stand perceiving a great physique, they probably have some major psychological problems to solve of their own. You must get used to those pessimistic people who hate on others for looking good.

Know Thyself

Developing a relationship with your body, and learning how to listen to the messages it gives you about what foods work and what foods don't work is your key to your health. When you find it, you must know that it may eventually change and you must learn to enjoy the process of discovering what works for you. The only constant in life is change and this constant change is what makes living so fun and exciting.

Create The Perfect Experience In Your Mind and Attract It.

Learn to master your world, and don't let it be the master of you. 

Attract into your life as much joy and richness as you can possibly wish for, need or desire simply by making a picture of it in your mind and focusing on it.

Yes, simply by picturing it, focusing on it and meditating with belief and emotional joy, you can enjoy perfect health, realize your perfect body weight, appearance and vitality and keep it that way.

You can enjoy perfect relationships with others whether friends, family or others, you can maintain absolute happiness, harmony and peace in your life at all times by directing your thoughts in the direction of your desires.

Law Of Attraction

There is an immutable Universal Law known as The Law of Attraction. It is one of the most powerful laws in the Universe and is the secret used by many of the top athletes, fitness competitors, writers, actors, actresses, businesses people and the very wealthiest and most successful people in history to effortlessly achieve major success, wealth and happiness.

Healthy Recipe

Roasted Tofu & Veggies

Serves: 6

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 carrots, chopped
  • 2 large sweet potatoes, chopped
  • 10 gloves garlic, peeled
  • 8 mushrooms, halved
  • 1 yam, cubed
  • 8 oz. tofu, cubed
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp rosemary
  • 1 tbsp dill
  • chilies to taste
  • salt and pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS:
  • 1. Preheat oven to 350F. Place the vegetables and tofu on a (no-stick sprayed) cookie sheet or glass pan and drizzle olive oil over them. Sprinkle with dill, rosemary, chilies, salt, and pepper and mix together well.
  • 2. Bake for 40-60 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes. Remove from oven when potatoes can be pierced easily with a fork.

NUTRITION INFO:

  • Calories: 220
  • Fat: 7 g
  • Carbohydrates: 25 g
  • Protein: 10 g
